The ongoing popularity of the Main Street Market has made Mornington a weekly destination for hundreds of shoppers, bringing a regular boost to the local economy, particularly the cafes. Wednesday regularly is one of the busiest days of the week!

What about weather extremes?
Although the we try to operate the market every week there are some weeks where this isn’t possible due to extreme weather, please see below our high wind and heat policies.
High Wind Policy: Please note that when the wind is 30km per hour or above there may be a limited number of stallholders at the market as it is a safety risk for some stallholders to set up. There are certain stalls that will still attend the market, such as fruit & veg stalls so please still come to Main Street to pick up your produce for the week.
Heat Policy: As we have experienced some extreme heat in previous summers we have implemented a heat policy:
40 degrees Celsius or above: The market may have limited stalls due to the heat 37 – 40 Degrees Celsius: Market times changed to 9am – 12pm
