Houghton’s Fine Foods offer some of Mornington Peninsulas finest morsels, including a marvellous selection of jams, preserves and oils as well as gourmet take home meals and lots of local produce that only the Peninsula can offer.
For artisan breads you cannot go past Franks Classic Bakery, the tiny bakery with bread to die for. And for more traditional fare Banjo’s Bakehouse will delight with the best meat pies in town.
Mornington Esplanade has been home to Counting House for many years, and now the historic building has been revamped with a lovely alfresco deck and new menu featuring a pop up Burn City Smokers for the 2017 Summer period. Enjoy a local wine or beer, looking out over the park and bay with a full meal or great tapas style dining.
Enjoy some wonderful tapas at Assaggini, listening to live music with a local vino. The lovely tapas bar on Albert Street has proved a great venue to sit, relax and enjoy some tasting plates.
