The Winey Cow is the brainchild of Restaurateurs Cam and Jill Henderson. Founded in 2014 in Mornington, on Victoria’s stunning Mornington Peninsula, it started with a box of straws, a communal table and a great vision. Nine years later, Mornington’s sister venue arrived on the shores of Main Beach, Queensland.
We are a brunch restaurant that strives for excellence in all that we serve and do for our customers and this philosophy also stands strong for our employees. We want our staff to be the best versions of themselves. This is reflected in our ownership structure for our Gold Coast venue. Cam and Jill are proud to welcome four previous staff members Jade, Rui, Britt and Magenta, as co-owners of The Winey Cow, Main Beach.
We are a multi-award-winning restaurant, with our Mornington venue previously voted Cafe of the Year in Victoria & Tasmania and recently Best Breakfast Restaurant Victoria. As champions of brunch, we pride ourselves on our beautiful venues, our delicious food, and our friendly and welcoming service.Our name? The Winey Cow is a playful reflection of our love for wine and cheese. The Mornington Peninsula and Gold Coast have amazing produce and where possible we use local ingredients and wine throughout our menu. As a brand, we value supporting local businesses and will continue to make this a priority.
