Inspired by Balcombe Estuary, Mount Martha. From above, landscapes, seascapes, waterways become ethereal and abstract delights. We can feel immersed walking through these environments, but when we zoom out and up, to take in the colours and textures from another plane, the wonder of nature floods our consciousness.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Jacqi Russo is Mornington Peninsula artist and designer. Previously working in fashion design, her career now weaves painting and illustration with surface pattern design, with a focus on themes from nature and botany.
