ABOUT THE ARTIST
Karen Charlton is an artist who lives and works on the Mornington Peninsula. She holds a BA (Hons) in Visual Culture from Monash University.
Karen was a finalist in the SBS Landscape Prize in 2021, and has previously been a finalist in the SBS Portrait Prize. She also runs Spare Parts Art Space where, along with having a studio, she facilitates drawing workshops for children and adults.
