ABOUT THE ARTIST
Frances James makes art in many media; paintings, textile art, and large pieces for churches. She’s always responding to the environment of the Peninsula, her childhood playground and retirement sanctuary. She works mainly in oils, but during lockdown has been exploring eco dyeing, making natural prints from leaves picked up as she walks beach and bush, and embellishing them with stitching.
